This is probably an issue that voters consider when deciding to vote for a female candidate. Would she be decisive and timely enough regarding engaging in armed conflict? Detractors may remark about conflicts. But it is rather obvious that in certain situations the best thing is to act swiftly and prevent worse problems.
Was the reaction of the administration in office adequate? I guess we could look through the web to get a sampling of who said what.
